biography
Soiree Charlotte, LLC is owned and operated by Jennifer Wouters. Living in North Carolina since 1992, she considers Charlotte home. An alumnae of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a degree in Business Administration, she is a proud Tar Heel.
Jennifer has been participating in wedding planning for years, and officially began booking her own weddings in 2007. Her involvement ranges from full wedding planning to day of coordination and direction. She also offers a line of social stationery.
Jennifer prides herself on the personal relationships that can be built with both her brides and grooms as well as families planning private social events. Understanding and relating to her clients allows her to customize each event so that it reflects each unique individual.
Prior to making Soiree Charlotte a full time business, Jennifer was honored to serve as Event Coordinator with the Carolina's professional football team for seven seasons. She planned events to entertain corporate sponsors. These events included pre-game interactive areas, womens football education programs, playoff charters, 5K road race, celebrity golf tournament, draft day party, annual fan cruise, away game trips and much more. Chances are you've seen her before, working at a home game!
Prior to coming to the football team, Jennifer worked at the Chamber of Commerce in Cary, NC. There, she attained a director position, planning events such as: board retreats, awards ceremonies, banquets, and golf tournaments. She was inspired by the members of the organization who were entrepreneurs and now joins them as a fellow business owner.
